According to customs statistics during January to December 2009 ferrous scrap export from Russia to Netherlands amounted 90700 tonnes. Comparing with 2008 export, volumes increase by 30.6 %.

This is the only country Russian ferrous scrap importer which has positive supplies dynamics as compared to 2008. The share of alloyed and stainless scrap supplies to this country amounted 85 %. The rest is used railways parts.

Total Russian export of wastes and scrap of this category amounted in 2009 136800 tonnes which as down 1.6 times on 2008. As the result the share of Netherlands in the supplies grew from 32% in 2008 to 66% in 2009.
