It is reported Baotou Iron and Steel Co Ltd has speeded up producing railway steel in front of financial crisis in 2009. And the output of railway steel was posted at 1.3 million tonnes vaulting into top one both at home and abroad.

The steel mill kept production of high-speed railway steel all the way, with the market demand exceeding supply. As learned, the first batch has been in storage for Beijing to Shanghai high speed railway construction.

Baotou Steel paid attention to the high speed railway steel production since the exploration of global economic recession in 2008. And it was planned to realize 1.15 million tonnes of the products in 2010.
