World Foundry Organization (WFO)
Founded in 1926, the World Foundry Organization (WFO) is the highest-level representative body of the foundry sector on a global scale. This international platform, which brings together foundry associations from more than 30 countries, has a structure that promotes knowledge sharing without profit motive, supports scientific research, disseminates technological developments throughout the sector, and leads the global integration of the foundry industry.
Throughout its century-long history, WFO has been not only an institution that transfers technical knowledge but also an international cooperation platform where sectoral solidarity, innovation, and sustainability goals are shared.
