18th S2P Conference

The organizing committee of the XVIII S2P Conference is pleased to announce a significant expansion of the conference’s scope to include both structural die castings and semi-solid metal processing, reflecting the growing convergence of these technologies in advanced manufacturing. This broader focus creates a comprehensive platform to explore the latest innovations, technical challenges, and emerging opportunities across a wide spectrum of metal casting techniques. The conference is designed to facilitate robust knowledge exchange and collaboration among researchers, engineers, and industry leadersshaping the future of high-performance casting and component design.

Join us for the 18th S2P Conference on April 27-29, 2026.

The conference will be hosted at the École Supérieure de Technologies Essaouira, Cadi Ayyad University (www.uca.ma/este/fr) in Essaouira, Morocco. The university offers state-of-the-art facilities and is located in a city known for its rich cultural heritage and scenic beauty.

Transportation

A wide variety of international airlines fly into Marrakech, Casablanca and Agadir, while limited airlines fly directly into Essaouira. Plans are underway to provide travel assistance from those cities to Essaouira.

Morocco allows visa-free (or easily obtainable visa) access for participants from most countries.

Accepted papers will be published in indexed journal Solid State Phenomena. Abstract submission deadline is September 15, 2025. You are invited to submit your abstract via the conference website at www.S2P-Conference.com
