Tianrun Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tianrun Industrial") announced that it intends to invest around €16.2 million to acquire 100% of the equity capital of Shandong Altai Auto Parts Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shandong Altai").

The Korean company is currently owned by Han Huizhen, Jiangsu Dongxi Engine Parts Co. Ltd., Altai Metal, and Dongxi Machinery. This was reported by yzweekly. A corresponding agreement was signed in July. Upon completion of the transaction, Shandong Altai will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Tianrun Industrial.

Shandong Altai is a Korean company that primarily manufactures high-pressure aluminum castings such as engine housings and transmission housings for passenger cars. The company has a complete production process from melting to casting and further processing and is capable of manufacturing die-cast parts and precision parts from aluminum alloys. It has been supplying supporting products to customers such as Hyundai and Kia in South Korea for many years. According to its financial report, Shandong Altai achieved an operating profit of around €12 million and a net loss of around €477,000 in the first quarter of 2025.

Tianrun Industrial stated that the company's original auto parts business, as well as other casting and forging activities, are mainly based on cast iron parts and forged steel parts.
