The company was established in November 2005 and is a key high-tech enterprise under the National Torch Program, controlled by the Luoyang Ship Materials Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation. It has a national-level enterprise technology center and an engineering laboratory for special steel and corrosion-resistant alloy materials applications, and has set up a postdoctoral research workstation. It undertakes various national projects and '863' projects, leads the formulation of multiple national standards, and has been recognized as a 'Key High-Tech Enterprise under the National Torch Program', a national 'Contract-Abiding and Trustworthy Enterprise', a civilized and honest enterprise in Henan Province, and an industry-leading enterprise. The company has also won the May 1st Labor Medal of Henan Province and the Mayor Quality Award of Luoyang City.

Currently, there are 1,044 employees, including 127 technical staff, with 10 researchers and 55 senior engineers. The company has nearly 100,000 square meters of modern factory buildings and more than 900 sets of instruments and equipment in the Luoyang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone.

It has fully digitized casting and machining workshops, advanced resin sand molding technology, and fourth-generation intelligent AOD refining technology. The facility is equipped with induction melting furnaces, AOD refining furnaces, small-to-medium resin sand molding lines, large resin sand molding lines, and large sand core shooting molding lines. It also has desktop coordinate measuring machines and capabilities for nondestructive testing.
